Disclaimer for Climbing Equipment Rental

1. General Information: The use of climbing equipment is at the renter’s own risk. The lessor assumes no liability for damages resulting from improper use or disregard of safety regulations. The renter confirms that they are aware of the risks and dangers associated with climbing sports.

2. Condition of Equipment: The climbing equipment is handed over by the lessor in a flawless and inspected condition. The renter is obliged to check the equipment for visible defects and damages before use. If defects or damages are detected, the lessor must be informed immediately. The use of damaged or defective equipment is prohibited.

3. Proper Use: The renter agrees to use the rented climbing equipment exclusively for its intended purpose and properly. The equipment may only be used for via ferrata and only by persons who have the necessary knowledge and skills. Use of the equipment by third parties is not permitted without the express consent of the lessor.

4. Limitation of Liability: The lessor is not liable for damages, injuries, or deaths resulting from the use of the climbing equipment unless they are due to intentional or grossly negligent behavior on the part of the lessor. Liability for indirect and consequential damages is excluded.

5. Safety Regulations: The renter agrees to observe the applicable safety regulations and instructions for use. This includes, in particular, wearing a suitable helmet, correctly fastening the climbing harness, and properly using the safety carabiners. The renter bears sole responsibility for compliance with these regulations.

1. General Information: The use of e-bikes is at the renter’s own risk. The lessor assumes no liability for damages resulting from improper use or disregard of traffic regulations. The renter confirms that they are aware of the risks and dangers associated with the use of e-bikes.

2. Condition of E-Bikes: The e-bikes are handed over by the lessor in a flawless and inspected condition. The renter is obliged to check the e-bike for visible defects and damages before use. If defects or damages are detected, the lessor must be informed immediately. The use of damaged or defective e-bikes is prohibited.

3. Proper Use: The renter agrees to use the rented e-bike exclusively for its intended purpose and properly. The use of the e-bike is at the renter’s own risk and in compliance with applicable traffic regulations. Use of the e-bike by third parties is not permitted without the express consent of the lessor.

6. Return of E-Bikes: The e-bikes must be returned to the lessor in a clean and proper condition. Damages exceeding normal wear and tear must be compensated by the renter.

7. Battery Life and Charging: The renter is responsible for the proper handling of the e-bike’s battery. Timely return before complete battery discharge is recommended to avoid damage. The renter is liable for damages resulting from improper charging behavior.
